FS NAD 7155 AM/FM stereo receiver from 1985. Has 55 watts per channel with lots of headroom and capable of 40amp peak current. This is the 2155 power amp, 4155 Shotz tuner and 1155 preamp all in one. Has an excellent MM/MC phono stage as well as inputs for Aux, and two tape decks. Also has th Bass Eq function which is very usefull. Everything works as it should and controls are clean. The faceplate and case are decent but on the top edge there are some chips in the paint. Asking $135 or offer The phono stage is worth that alone. thanks

That's some "old school" NAD there. Probably a real catch for a "collector"!

I had one! This unit sounds way more powerful then it's rated. Solid bass and the phono pre was way better then what people would think from a receiver.

There was no sarcasm there. I have 4 complete NAD rigs (most have been recapped) but I recently purchased one of these absolutely stock for my home office rig. I'm running about 5K of top notch components and cables to recapped Monitor 5jr+'s and the NAD 7155 is not the weakest link in the chain.

Really? Are Monitor 5jr's worth all that? Don't get me wrong, I love my 5jr's, but $5K in components/cables with them?

Sorry, Keith, didn't mean to derail your ad - - - - BUMP and GLWTS.

I was confused by the quotation marks. In my mind, that implies sarcasm. I have owned several nad amps/receivers/preamps/integrateds, think they are just fine. I currently own a 7600, have no complaints.
