A special thanks to VR3 mods for his help with the crossovers in my RT15’s. Last year when I remodeled my kitchen I chose a pair of RT 15’s to provide some background music and for size considerations. I contacted Trey because I was interested in upgrading the sound and ended up purchasing some Clarity Cap ESA’s and upgraded resistors to mod my x-overs. He also recommended some upgraded binding posts for an upgraded audiophile look (I know, I know it’s only a small bookshelf but what the heck its only money and you can’t take it with you). Well the modification was supposed to happen last year but since I was busy finishing up the kitchen remodel, it didn’t happen before the holidays hit. Well today was a rainy day in B’more, so I decided to perform the X-over mod (see photos). The results were amazing with the increased clarity and detail. These RT 15’s might be small but these mods made them sound like something you would expect from a much larger speaker. Thanks again.
