My speaker set up is in my signature. I'm thinking of switching the rt35i to my surrounds and the rt25i to front high. Input?

Sounds like a good plan and pretty easy to test out as well. I've not seen a lot of material that is sourced for the height speakers so it seems to be the area that needs the least amount of sound, so going with the 25i's would be a more natural fit. That way you can get a richer surround experience from the 35i's and almost all movies have a lot of dedicated surround info.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

That's what I was thinking as well. I think more info gets sent to the surrounds than the height speakers. Seems like a better idea to have the 35s as surrounds and 25s as heights.Sony KDL-55EX500 TV
