    I hope it is better than the current CD. The levels are so low on the current CD you really to turn it up. Sort of the Bizarro World version of the loudness war.

    That "Adventures In Mastering" thread just got a bit more interesting, as Bob Ezrin jumped in and protested about Mr. Hoffman's characterization of the original tapes used and that he'd changed the sound Ezrin was going for in 1972. Entertaining!

    Both of the big names in that thread probably overreacting. Gonna go spin my BDB vinyl and decide whether this SACD title will go to my must-buy list.

    Edit: ...and I agree that those AIM posts by SH will be missed. They make for fun and interesting reading.
