Any difference between Monitor 40 and Monitor 45/Monitor 70 and Monitor 75?
I'm looking to set up a small living room on the cheap. I'm a big fan of Polk products, and with the holidays coming up, I know Newegg is going to have the Polk Monitor II series selling very cheaply. In fact, this morning, I got an e-mail alert saying that the Monitor II 40s are on sale for $119 for the pair. What is the difference between the 40 and the 45?
While I'm asking that, the same question applies to the 70 and 75. Is it really just the location of the tweeter, and if so, how does that affect the sound?
Thanks for any help!
