I work at a conference center/wedding venue and we have a wedding today. ...Tuesday.

I don't quite understand why people go crazy over these special dates but to each their own.

Speaking of weddings, and Wisconsin....my daughter was at a wedding last weekend in Milwaukee. An outdoor wedding and reception. Now.....color me stupid, but who plans a wedding outside in Wisconsin in November ? No heaters....tents, nadda. Thing is too, the bride and groom are educated people. One is a newscaster on TV up there and the bride is a lawyer.

Another fine example of the "Death of common sense".

    I noticed that as well...

You do know why six was afraid of seven, don't you?

    Because...

    Seven ate nine.

Why 10-12-13? so the groom doesn't forget his weeding day 10 years from now.

Our daughter was born - by 41 minutes - on our first anniversary. So I can either remember big, or forget big! ;-)

We have people do ceremonies outside in November, but receptions...now that's just silly.

It's a little late in the year for weeding up in Wisconsin. Might want to get the snow blower tuned up though.

On a similar note, Skipper, my Portuguese water dog, was born on January 2, 2003. He was the fourth pup born in a litter of five. So............he's got the 1-2-3-4-5 thing covered, big time!!

What is this "Plan Ahead Fellas" thing you speak of? Are you saying that there are some men who actually have a say in the wedding date? Ohhh, I don't think you're allowed to spread warlock incantations/witchcraft on this site....
