Audio cards and RAM

Got some computer stuff I am wanting to sell.

I have two audio cards. I can part with my Audigy 2 for $65 shipped, or my SB Live 5.1 for $30 shipped. Both are slightly used, but are in perfect working condition.

I also have some RAM I am looking to get rid of (the udgrade bug bit me). I have two sticks (one 128 and one 256) of PC2100 DDR RAM. I can ship both for $30. Make an offer if you only want one or the other. The RAM is also used, but, in perfect working condition.

What type of outs do they have. Not familiar with them.

Oh, just a bunch of minijacks. Both have a digital minijack out. I think its only compliant with speakers for PC. You can check more of it out at www.creative.com.

BTW, the RAM has been sold.

Can anyone tell me if this will improve sound quality of the music being played from my computer. Right now im using a monster cable with my built in sound card. Its a stereo out from the comp. Thanx guys.

the creative sound cards are great. i've always used them. Soundblaster live 5.1 and now an Audigy 5.1 too.

the Audigy is the most current. not that the soundblaster live is bad. it's just a little bit older. that's all. but are great cards.. i think the Audigy has 24/96 DACS in it. but not sure. check out creative to be sure.

Just the plain old Audigy 2.

I use the older Audigy 2, it is a great card. Anything you can get off you mobo, is a good thing IMO. I would definetly buy it Warviper. And you can run anything you want from it....like this for example:

Can anyone tell me the difference on the audigy2 and the platnium version?

The Audigy 2(P) added a 5.25" bay interface that allows you front panel connections for the main, normally optional(Add-In), connections. Video, Audio, Firewire, Optical In/Out, Headphone....Volume control...and a remote control. I am sure a couple other things exist, the main card and DAC is the same.

nevermind... just realised the RAM was sold already. Apparently the price was good to someone else, too :-D

Yeah, I sold it to my roommate who has too much money to know what to do with. I got kinda screwed on the deal. I like to hold electrostatically sensitive equipment carefully, but not him. He grabs it with a fist, contact all over the pieces. Guess what, he ended up zapping one of the sticks, so I only ended up charging him for one. I got $10 out of the deal. Dangit!
