How to install Ceiling speakers with cellulose insulation

I am going to be installing a pair of RT-70's in my ceiling with cellulose (blown-in) insulation above it. I have read that laying a piece of bat insulation over the top is the best way to keep the cellulose out, but will that have an adverse affect on the sound quality or the electronics on top of these speakers? I am wondering if I should take the time to frame a plywood box around them? Please advise! Thanks!
