^ This looks like a more recent version of the Peerless tweeter as you can still buy them new.

There are "Peerless clones" available new but they do not have the hole in the center. Check tthe serial number on the back of the tweeters. It should start with 7514 or 5514. 7514 was manufactured in Denmark and 5514 was manufacured in the U.S. The last 4 digits will be the month and year manufactured.

    Many Thanks Faustin
It's a great deal of help if I can know how to identify them myself

Your welcome. I have some 10a's with Denmark Peerless tweeters and some 4a's with the US manufactured Peerless. Both sound great.

What's your thoughts on the peerless clones?

I think they are a great alternative if you have to replace a Peerless. And when you think about it, you will spend around $30 for a 35 year old Peerless, hope it works, and then it may crap out in a few months. A little over $100 and you have a new set of tweeters and they even look the same - minus the hole in the middle.
