I have a friend that is considering selling his Dunlavy SC-II speakers. I listened to them briefly at his house and was impressed.

Any owner experience with Dunlavy and especially with this particular model?

He is thinking of selling for $400.

Any opinions?

Thanks

I dig 'em. I like the 4's better than the 2's but for 400 clams, not too shabby. What....you falling out of love with the Acoustat's already ? The Dunlavy's do more right with music than wrong, I would have no problem owning them. Nice soundstage, imaging, a tad on the warmer side and the 2's might get a wee bit wobbly in those bottom octaves, but if your using a subwoofer with them, nothing to worry about. Feed them good power to bring out their best.

    Thanks,

I need to update my listed system. I am back to using Dahlquist DQ-10's in the living room, Meadowlark Kestrel Hot Rods in the family room, and Dahlquist DQ-20's in the basement mancave.
