I have sda 2.3 speakers and want to upgrade them. They have the old style donut drivers. What is everyone doing to upgrade them? I love them and have not used them in years. They will be a part of my home theater and listening room.

Upgrade usually doesn't involve mid woofers unless they are bad/frozen.
Crossover, tweeter, dynamat driver baskets, seal cabinet, epoxy mid woofer magnets, spike cabinet etc...
Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze. -
The doughnut drivers if they work are good leave them the intention was to enhance the bass response.
Start by replacing the tweeters with RDO-194 they are much better than the Sl-2000. Next will be the tired old out of date dried out crossovers, only the capacitors and the resistors will need to be replaced.
