Need an answer from AF guys out there:

If you had four medals, Good Conduct, Marksmanship, Air Force longivity, and National Defense. What order would you wear them.

I have been out a long time and want to make up a military box. These are all bar ribbon medals.

George, you should know this.

Thanks

Gary

    Gary,

From bottom right (if you are facing them): AF Training ribbon (that is a gimmie) Small Arms Marksmanship, AF longevity, Nation Defense, Good Conduct. In that order.

Also, you could possibly contact the VA and get a copy of your ribbons/decoration report. At least now, when you separate they will award you an achievement or commendation medal.

If you need any of the ribbons or medals, let me know and I can get them for you.

    Hi Troy:

Thanks a lot. They didn't have the training ribbon when I was in, 1962-69. I don't know if I am authorized to wear that or not.

I can get what I need at the Army Navy Surplus store here, thanks for the offer. And I have my DD form 214 so I have all of my medals on that.

    No worries......

I'll look in to the training ribbon but if I am not mistaken, if you graduated from Basic, you should be authorized to wear it. I will double check however.
