I just saw this on the AK site and the guy wants to restore these AR-LST-2 .To me they are in very rough shape but according to the guys over there these speakers are more than worth it in restored condition ,bringing in a lot of coin when done and supposed to sound amazing like very big brothers to AR 3As.If the the pix comes through you will see woofers needing refoaming, pushed in tweeters , tweeters w/ broken connections, and grill protectors also pushed in with multiple holes in the baffle filled w/ some kind of epoxy filling the holes. This I later learned was done after they changed the wiring design and went through the rear of the cabinet instead of the front. There has to be a better way to at least ditch those holes w/ plugs and then maybe sand down to baffle level.Would any one here go to these lenghts of home restoration or to far gone?
