Vintage Home Theater Setup

I'm hoping to have room in the very near future for a second HT setup to use for movies exclusively. My current setup (Talon speakers, Simaudio, etc.) will serve double duty as HT and 2-channel listening. I'm sure I'll play around with the speaker setup, but wanted to get the forum's feedback.

I'll be using a pair of SRS 2.3's for the fronts. I have one pair of Monitor 10's and one pair of Monitor 7A's. The receiver is an NAD T775. Would I be best served using the Monitor 10's for the surrounds and one of the Monitor 7A's for the center channel? Given the importance of the CC in HT, maybe the Monitor 10 would be the better center channel and the Monitor 7's as surrounds. The Monitors have Peerless tweeters. I'm also open to suggestions for a different center channel and use the 7A's for back surrounds.

I think you have a good plan; you can see from my sig I do something similar (using Monitor 4's as my CS). The 7's should be fine for a center channel: you want it to be strong in the mid (dialog) range, not the bottom end.

It's not a big deal to swap 7's with 10's since you already have it.
Just set them up and listen.

I ran dual monitor 7's as my center in a HT rig. It worked great.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking just one of the monitors for the center channel. For those of you running two monitors, do you have them wired in series or parallel?
