m 4.5 in a surround system
I am currently looking to upgrade my surround system as it is an old pro-logic system. Just wondering if I need to get rid of my m 4.5 polk speakers or are they still good even by todays standards.
I still love the sound of them and they match my center speaker (mirage mcc-r) quite well. If they are still good what would be a good choice for rear and side surrounds as my current ones are crap (audiosphere research micro-monitor) . Also wondering about
ohm rating on recievers. The 4.5 are 6 ohm and it seems most recievers arerated for 8-16 ohm. What problems will you run into by running a 6 ohm speaker with a reciever rated for 8-16 ohm.
Thanks,
