RT-5 and RT-25i question

I had Polk RT-5 speakers. I just added 2 RT-25i speakers and a CS-245 as the center. I would think that the rt-5's should be the front speakers since they are a little larger. My concern is that the rt-25i speakers might sound better than the rt-5 speakers. Would it be wrong to put the rt-25i speakers in the front? Do you think they are better sounding speakers? Would this affect the volume of my home theater system? Thanks for your time!!!

I don't know that there is a wrong answer in this case, both are damn fine speakers. However, the case could be made for putting the RT25i's in front because the will probably match your center better as they have the same drivers.

Not to say that they RT5's sound worse or wouldn't do well as fronts but they have a 6.5" driver and the silk tweeter and would mate less well, IMO, with the 245i

Try it either way and let us know what you think.
