Started a new leg of a tour last night in Madison, Wisconsin. Tonight in Milwaukee. I was in the 7th row center last night, superb performing arts venue made for acoustics. Saw them at the same venue a year ago in the summer. They actually had a twelve piece band last night, not eleven, a third backup vocalist, a woman who Susan Tedeschi said was her college roommate. Didn't know she went to college, learn something every day. Really good show. Man, that Derek Trucks can wail! And its refreshing to see a guy who plays the same guitar the whole show. Like my buddy also said, "It's just like the Allman Brothers, there's no gizmos, just a guitar, a cord, and an amp.

There's a reason why Derek Trucks plays in the Allman Brothers And it's not just because his uncle is in the band! He's probably one of the top 3 slide guitarists alive today. I've seen him with the Allmans several times, and solo twice. Haven't seen the band with his wife, but I have a few albums and they definitely can play....Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Saw them at the Durham Performing Arts Center a couple of years ago, a great venue designed for superb acoustics. One of the best shows I've ever seen. If you like great music played by top flight musicians without over the top theatrics, they're a must see."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer
