Just a quick question for those who have had success with the Avia tweak.
to get best levels from all channels, what sound source should I set my Denon at? Direct? PLII? does it matter?

I don't have the Avia but I have the Sound and Vision calibration dvd. Calibrate all of your mains / surrounds at 85 db. Use DTS or Dolby Digital since those are the popular way movies are encoded nowadays.
