Hello Darkhawk141,
Welcome to Polk's forum. Is the LED illuminated on the amplifier's input plate?
Regards, Ken -
The LED is illuminated on the back of the sub if that's what you mean

It would seem the plate amp is still working, so you probably blew out the voice coil. Time to buy a new sub.Political Correctness'.........defined

Ok thanks I am going to try it on my computer see if it is the dennon that is the problem if not not sure if it's in warranty
-
I would take out the subwoofer and test it on a different amplifier to see if it works.

It's not your Denon. By cranking up the bass you over drove the sub damaging the voice coil. That is not covered under anyone's warranty.Political Correctness'.........defined

I am running it off my computer, it gets sound and bass but it's very quiet any ideas ?

Let's try a test. Do you have a DVD or CD player? If so, connect the right and left audio outputs of the player to the corresponding right and left inputs of the sub. Then start playing a CD, there should be plenty of bass coming from the sub when the sub's volume is set to the 9:00 o'clock position.

Ok thanks I will try that.

Hello,
Thanks for doing the test. It could be either the bass amplifier or the woofer, give Polk's CS department a call at: 1-800-377-7655 or via email to: polkcs@polkaudio.com for help. If you've owned it less than five years and are the original owner be sure to have the date and place of purchase handy when you call.
I'm sorry you're having a problem, but Polk will help you out.

Blown woofers are easy to diagnose, gently push on the dust cap with all five fingers and if it's blown you will hear rubbing in most cases. The fact that there is low output makes me think it might be the amp. Voice coils either open up completely (no sound at all) or become unraveled when overheated and loudly buzz and distort.
