My PFB Moment

This week Yahoo rolled out a new email appearance, and one of its features is it collapses related emails into threads with the latest email in the thread as the only one displayed in the inbox. So Monday I send out the invite for poker, and Tuesday Yahoo changes the email display. Thursday afternoon I go to send out a poker email to the group, and I notice the original email, and all the replies, is gone. WTF, I am wondering. I look in the trash and nothing is there dated 10/7. Back to the inbox, and sure enough these emails are gone.

Now I am mad at Yahoo since, obviously, their email change has deleted my emails. I call their 800 support number, and some guy gives me a local number to call for this issue. Apparently, this has happened to a lot of people. I wait on hold for nearly 2 hours listening to an awful looping music snippet, over and over and over. Finally, my call gets answered and I am immediately disconnected. So now I am really irritated and cursing Melissa Myers and anyone else who screwed up Yahoo Mail. So a coworker says trying searching mail to see what you find. I immediately find in the trash the last mail received about the game that morning on 10/10. I had deleted it since he said he couldn't make it.

Anyway, it turns out by doing that I deleted the entire thread as all emails were grouped under it. Duh! Dumb-a$$! :lol:

I immediately turned this new threading feature off.

    Its kinda like I am reality tv version of polk threads, just utter mindless trash but people always seem to comeback for more. After Kens pm ( not the close personal friendship with Ken bryston that we dont like to talk about) I am starting to think its not such a good idea that I share or that if I do I have to make less juvenile.
