Who can mod my Adcom GDA 700 Dac

I really like the sound that my Adcom GDA 700 Dac contributes to my system. I realize it's getting some age on it, but don't really want to upgrade to a different DAC. I don't have any soldering skills or experience, but I would love to find someone who could mod my adcom dac. Do you guys know where I might be able to send my dac to upgrade the caps, etc?

Soundfreak, I may have written down the number incorrectly to your tech and can't reach him. Do you think he would consider working on my adcom?

Any help would be appreciated

    If you are just changing out for the same value but better caps it is easy you should try at the very least.

    If you can't get someone I would volunteer my time(it would only cost you parts &shipping) but you would have to ship it to Canuckistan.

    I am ready to defend it using our tried tested and true way by saying " Sorry" to them until they can't take it and leave our vast free land..lol

    Don't trust myself pitdogg....probably could do it, but it's a fear of the unknown type of thing

    Dheart86, what he has done for all he has touched is remarkable. The dac mod had amazing results.he has done many other 600's for other friends with the same results.
