I had bought a set of Polk speaker second hand that came with a PSW202 with a bad amp. So for around the cost to have the amp shipped and replaced I upgraded it myself. I found a XS2300 and Rockford Punch HX2 at a yard sale for a good price. Right now I have it set up to run at 150w bridged because the PSU I am using is one from the original Xbox 360. It can only handle 16.5 Amps. Minus a couple of air leaks around some screws it sounds surprisingly well! I took the back plate amp and stripped all the components out and sealed all the holes with caulk. Trimmed the mouth of the port inside slightly so the sub would vibrate against it. I am going to clean up the box. To overcome the ground loop I was getting I had to run a ground from the negative to the receiver shell. It was going to cost $80 plus shipping to get it fixed. I spent $40 for the amp and sub combined.
