The "Modular Component Series" was JC Penny's house brand for audio - most were Matsu****a (Technics/Panasonic) OEM, but this one doesn't look like a Technics - maybe CEC OEM (CEC made many, many of the Japanese massmarket hifi turntables in the 1970s). Radio Shack sold some very similar tts in the very late 1970s; peruse www.radioshackcatalogs.com and you'll see similar - although NOT identical - tts.
I don't know about the "... Audio 1800". I think CEC probably made this one, too... it is extremely similar in layout to the Marantz 6100 - very basic belt drive. The arm actually looks a lot like that of the Pioneer PL-12D, though.
There's a later Technics (maybe an SL-BD20) with a straight arm and a P-mount. http://www.vintagetechnics.co.uk/turntables/slbd20.htm
The silver Technics with the straight arm looks more promising; not 100% sure of the ID of that one, though... maybe this SL-B300(?) http://www.vintagetechnics.co.uk/turntables/slb300.htm
(or maybe a direct drive - I don't know fo' sho')
You could probably identify the Numark ;-) -
Not too bad of a deal for WIW up n running. Ive owned MCS & SLBD22 both are tough TT' & ad states new replacements..
