Pair of ADS L730's..Seattle/Olympia pickup only...

Have a pair of L730's for sale. Excellent sound, all drivers working and no surround issues. Both mid's have push'ins both does not affect the sound. Play tested with everything from ABBA to Metallica to Ladytron The metal grills are present and look fine, just forgot to take pics and can take pics if needed. As can be seen one speaker has gotten a "Howard's" treatment :)

    +1 That's a great price. Those domes can probably be pulled out by sticking a piece of masking tape to them & gently pulling.

    Please, do not put masking tape on the ADS domes. They are much more fragile than most - I've done it and tore the heck out of one - took the top coat right off the dome. I think a light suction, and I mean a light suction, with a vacuum and not touching any part of the dome will do the trick. If you are real steady, you could take the mids apart and gently push the domes back into shape from the back-side. If all else fails, you can buy the domes from Richard So (e-bay).

    I have a set of L-730's that I picked up a short while ago and they have much more aggressive rock-n-roll sound than most other ADS speakers, such as the L-710's that I have. I also have L-620's, which are two-ways and do a fine job in my workshop.

    Good to know. I always thought the ADS domes were pretty similar to the Canton domes, which I have used the tape trick on before. I stand corrected.
