Just got back, it looks clean as a whistle inside, except for a little dust, which is now gone, very nice outside, even came with the accessory box, with fuses, screwdriver,
even a pair of white cotton gloves for handling the tube, not sure what was in the oval cutout in the foam.
Im too tired to bother pulling everything out and swapping pres right now.
Also, a couple questions if i may,
The direct input i suppose just bypasses some circuitry for a more direct signal path right?
On my adcom gfp750 there was a switch to do that, i will be looking it up of course, but any info will be appreciated.
I have to get my rega mini soldered, also will be looking for a better phono pre, until then, my carver c11 can be used as a phono pre, correct?
I seem to remember someone advising me here something to that effect concerning using tape monitor ins and outputs on 70s era receivers.
And of course, what tubes should i be looking for to roll, yes i have yet to even hook it up, and im already itching to roll tube.
The unit came with three substantial feeling power cords of different lengths, and 4 esoteric audio musica ics.
All in all a very pleasant ride with a good friend, and after a nap, look forward to trying it out.

It is hooked up, playing the celebration day blu ray, huge soundstage, great bass.
I believe the oval cutout in the foam was for the power cord.
Im still too tired to enjoy it, will get some serious time in tomorrow, really looking forward to trying to get the lps spinning.humpty dumpty was pushed -

Got the phono pre soldered, sitting here on a gorgeous fall north georgia morning, listening to steely dans aja thru the direct circuit on the sfl 1.
