Well this was an easy one for sure,I didn't think I wanted to do piecemeal work again but they just kept staring at me and I had to do something. To continue on from yesterday I made the deal w/ the guy from C/L and besides the whole sheet he also gave loads of strips of the Black Hole -5 for $18.After confering w/ some of you most said yes do behind the tweeters which I did and not close to the passive bin.So now for mechanical mods done, Dynamat Extreme all basket spars,Liquid Nailed all cabinet seams, added some floor deadener not as thick as the BH-5 and technically changed out the poly switch to a 2.5 mills resistor. On to the tweeters whenever they come in and because again I did this at a wacky hour not a note is to played for some time.
If interested this guy does have some high end gear for sale.I told him I yap here so I asked if giving out his telco # would be ok. He said yes and has some NAD , a fairly new beautiful Bryston SD 250 wpc ss amp for $1,400 w/ x-ferable warranty and some other stuff. If interested p/m me and this was a cold C/L add no affilation but a very nice guy..One other thing that I was not sure of there is a brace in the middle of the mids but does not go close to the tweeter.

    1) I have never replaced my polyswitches with resistors, but I think the value is closer to .5ohm.

    2) make sure you don't have that polyfill behind the passive radiator as it will decrease air flow and decrease bass.

    ^^^^ what he said.

I replaced my polyswitch with a 0.5 ohm mills; others feel like this rolls off the top end sparkle too much and use a 0.2. If that's not a typo in your original post your gonna wonder where your highs went.

Ditto on placement of the polyfill.

Looking forward to your impressions once you've had a chance to get your ears on 'em post mods.

Your right they were 0.5 12watt Mills. Had something else I was thinking about but they are they are right ones..Definate typo, poly fill is knowhere near the passive bin and is rolled almost the same way it was lowered to do the work then packed back up w/ hands of an angel . Guys have no fear I'm on this.Still a little to early to fully evaluate so might have to wait a bit...
