Upgrade CD player?

I currently have a Sony CDP-CA70ES CD player. It works fine (much better than using a DVD player to play CDs), but now I'm contemplating my next upgrade. I'm considering stepping up to the low end audiophile arena by purchasing a Cambridge Audio Azur 640C CD player (see www.audioadvisor.com).

My question is whether or not it's worth the $500 bucks to upgrade from what I already have. I'm using a Denon 1803 receiver.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

If I read the ad right, it up samples to 24/192. If that is true, then yes it is worth upgrading.

    Thanks, F1.

Not quite ready to purchase it yet. I just bought some Rti70's today. Gotta save my money for a new CD player. Hopefully, I'll be able to sell my current one for about $200 eventually to go towards a new one.
