Ok so I won a pair of polk rt55i's on ebay. Free local pick up in cali was offered but so was shipping. $55 shipped via usps to be exact. So today I get an invoice for the price of just the speakers, no shipping price. On the invoice was a note: "just so you know, these are local pick up only".

I sent him a message to remind him of his shipping option. He replies back : "I must have forgotten to remove that part from the description. We can
cancel the transaction if you're not interested."

What are my options here?

Yea that would be quite a drive from Missouri. Not a lot you can do I would just let it go. I wouldn't try to make him if he doesn't want to because he might just throw them in a box with no packing and ship them to you and that would be a mess.

Thanks guy. I probably will let this go. The bidding didn't go high on these and the seller is most likely upset about it. I'll bet he relists them with a much
    Higher starting bid.

Four good reasons to take your money and run:

    1) Even at a decent price, they aren't in living room presentable condition, IMHO.
    2) fasteddie doesn't sound very excited about shipping them. This usually doesn't lead to good packing jobs.
    3) fasteddie does state, " I was told they worked but I didn't test them myself."
    4) The seller likes to be called fasteddie.

Which is why the term "won" maybe isn't the best description.

+1000 on what Paul said, you'll find a better deal somewhere near you on something else. I always prefer if possible, picking up items in person instead of shipping. As was stated above, a number of sellers on fleabay suck at packing, lol.

I messaged last night to tell him its okay to cancel. I did get him to admit that he was simply losing money, which was all I wanted to say in the first place.
Forgetting to remove the shipping bit from the description was a load of bull. But we all make mistakes. I wished him luck with the sale.

Again, thanks for the advice, guys.
