I've got an Adcom GFP-565 preamp, which I don't think I will be using. I am not sure how much these go for but searching eBay, I've seen prices vary. It is in excellent condition. All the buttons work, turns on and tested it about a month ago with a Carver amp.
I will post pictures when I get home later tonight.
Price: $200 plus shipping. Or if anyone has anything to trade like a 2 channel amp with 200 wpc or more let me know. Trade + money. If need be.

Does it have the remote? I do have a NAD 216 that needs a new home, it is however only 125WPC, but think it would drive your 70's to levels you never imagined.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

Unfortunately, I do not have a remote for it, and I don't even know if it had a remote. My great uncle (RIP) was the owner, and he never really used it that much. Thereafter, my dad acquire it, and he didn't really use it either. Now, I've got it, and I though about doing a 2.0 set up in my garage, but now I've changed my mind.
My AVR Pioneer SC-1522 does 135 wpc. I am also looking into updating to the RTi / RTiA line so that's another reason why I want a more powerful amp.
I am posting new pics right now!AVR: DENON X4000

I am actually thinking of selling the Carver amp too. I just bought a Outlaw M2200 200 wpc mono amp for my center channel, and it has 12v trigger so, I may look into getting something with 12v triggers.AVR: DENON X4000

Not sure why you would get rid of the Carver amp, that should be a lot better than running the speakers of the AVR. I know it's rated at 135wpc but really there is a difference in a separate amp. Have you not compared running the speakers off the AVR and then with the Carver using the AVR as the pre?2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

I don't think it had a remote on that preamp. When I had mine, it also didn't have one. BTW that preamp is very good! the phono section is excellent!

That preamp gets incredible reviews.

I gave a call to Hi-Tech Audio, and I was told that they can modified my Carver TFM-35 to have 12v triggers. So, I might send it out to them and have that done.AVR: DENON X4000

Have you tried the Adcom w/ the Carver? I have a Carver M-4.0T that came with a CT-Seven & I've been thinking about another partner for the amp. I haven't heard Carver & Adcom together.

That's how my great uncle and dad had it set up for their 2.0 system. It sounded good the few times I heard it together.AVR: DENON X4000

Well, I returned home, and my wife tells me that my dad came by and took something from my garage. I went to the garage, and he took the Adcom pre-amp, and found $400 dollars inside the box I was going to use for shipping.
So, it has been sold!AVR: DENON X4000
