Been having problems with a deftech sub i have had it repaired once and its doing the same thing its the pf15 and there is this bass track that plays at verry low levels and i enjoy testing out my subs on them but the deftech starts burning up on it. Emailed deftech 3 days ago and yet no response how should I go from here. Still under warranty am i wrong or is this sub better than this. Thanx for the help.
Wish I was a polkologist then I could call my self Dr.warviper.

i have the PF12 i have had it about 8 years, replaced the amp 4 years ago because it would get real hot and shut down then cool off and come back on until it just did not turn on any more..
it is now doing it again but only with music, movies are fine because it is not steady bass notes, i talked with the repair guy at are store about it and he said that definitives run hot on a normal..
great sub and i have enjoyed it very much but i am getting ready to retire it..

chet at definitive is a pretty cool guy, he will get back to you and take care of you, when mine went out i talked with him quite a bit and got a new amp for $205 shipped.
