Well I bought this and to my astonishment the seller overnighted it to me via fedex. First off I have to say its one of the best looking pieces of gear I have laid my eyes on. The weight on the back of it with the 3 huge transformers takes this thing to at 60 lbs. The size of this just makes you say wtf is going on inside this thing.
I have had it on for around 5 hours and the rooms like a sauna and I have to say it sounds great. This is my first time with the big kt88 tubes and it really has bottom end. I am playing the kef ls50 and they sound wayyyy better than with the anthem 5 channel amp so the kef's respond well to tubes me thinks.
I will post a few pics but I cannot wait till I get my big electrostats out over the weekend to see if the 50 wpc can handle them.

Very nice! You said it has KT88 power tubes, but what are the other four? What brand tubes did it come with? Those are some substantial transformers. Good luck with it!Sources: Technics SL1200MKII | SME3009 Tonearm | Monster Alpha 1 MC cartridge | Oppo UDP203 disk player | Nikko NT-790 analog tuner | Musical Fidelity Trivista 21 DAC | Preamp: Threshold SL-10 | Amplifier: Threshold Stasis 2 | Speakers: Snell Acoustics C/V | Kimber 12-TC bi wire speakers | Analysis plus Oval 1 preamp to amp | Wireworld Eclipse 7 DAC to Preamp | Wireworld eclipse digital IC Oppo to DAC | Audioquest Quartz tuner to preamp |

The driver tubes are 6SN7's and they are just the standard factory brand. Mystere, Melody and Prima Luna are all the same brand so Mystere is just a high end version of Primaluna all dutch designed but made in china.

Nice! Hope you enjoy it! Not trying to be a SA or anything but you do realize you could have ran KT88s (or 6550s, 90s, 120s) in your old PL monoblocks? I understand though, it's always nice to try different stuff out.
