Just out of curiosity, does anybody plan on getting "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus" and "GMK" on Jan. 27. They will have the original Japanese language with English subtitles and an English dub both in 5.1 and they are in widescreen. Unfortunately there are no extras. If your a Godzilla fan these two are worth picking up.

I have the Japanese region 2 dvd of GMK.
The audio is Dolby 5.1 only, but it is powerful.
Hope the USA disc is as good. The Japanese one is a 3 disc set with 2 discs worth of supplement documentaries, one backstory and behind the scenes filming of the suits, and one that's all design and construction of the kaiju suits.

GMK is beautiful, spiky horror film almost as great as the 1954 film.

I just saw the 2002 Godzilla X Mechagodzilla; it's extremely good, with a lot of energy. Female empowerment movie.

I too enjoyed Godzilla x Mechagodzilla, more than I thought I would. The movie had a great pace to it and great action sequences. I recently read that this movie will be out on DVD on March 23rd. The disc will include anomorphic widescreen, 5.1 Japanese language with English subtitles and an English dub but no extras.

I got a 5 disc box set, Destroy all Monsters and Godzilla vs Destroya/Godzilla vs Space Godzilla for X-mas. It was a good year. For my birthday I'm hoping to get some Akira Ifukube music on CD.
