. . . that significantly improved the quality and enjoyment of my listening experience.
First, TC Electronic Level Pilot. It's a passive pre with a stereo set of balanced ins and outs. It's dead quiet and perfectly minimalist. Who needs a remote when you have a big **** level control at your finger tips. It's modern cool but tactically vintage and I love it.

Second, Dirac Software Room Correction. This is the new gold standard. It is amazingly easy to use and makes your computer believe it is a soundcard. Therefore, all sound coming from your PC is corrected. Say goodbye to expansion apps like Amarra or PureVinyl that pair with iTunes. Now you can use whatever audio software you want and apply room-correction seamlessly to it all. This thing is so good that Spatial Computer is now using it instead of Spatial HD as the preferred room correction software. Read about this software and it will blow your mind. It literally dissected my room and speakers and put them back together in a way that blew my mind. Right now, its output is limited to 24/96, but the 24/192 upgrade is scheduled to be released for free to current owners by the end of the year.

I am going to pass this along to my buddy, he uses his PC for music into his audio rig.

Cool! Wonder if you would be willing to demo Accourate. You take measurements, and send him the info and 2 files, and get back 2 corrected files. I had Audiolense but wasn't happy. Planning to try Dirac and Accourate soon now that my room is treated.SolidSqual wrote: ». . . that significantly improved the quality and enjoyment of my listening experience.
