Cool little device for $35....

got one today, and really is great for streaming video to your tv, and even if you have a smart tv the video is much improved

    I have one, it's lagging with casting from the computer and very few apps support it. It's also really annoying to control the volume with your phone or tablet.

    At this point I am not sure it's worth $35

    Maybe I will change my mind after the sdk is final and I can try writing some apps against it.

    So I plugged mine into my av pre pro HDMI and get decent sq/vq

    I don't see a version number on the home screen. But the first night I could not get Google play to stream any thing worth beans. The next day it worked fine. Maybe I'll try it again see if Google is pushing silent updates to it.

    So far it doesn't compare to the Apple TV for content. It's a fun novelty to stream my Chrome Browser to the TV. Not sure it will become anything more.
