That MSRP is for EACH speaker, you will need 2 for a pair.

    How's the price now?

What did I say last night, Russ?
    Political Correctness'.........defined

"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

I don't know, before I got into the higher quality audio I was used to seeing speakers priced by the pair. It's understandable if someone gets confused.

BTW Mad man - welcome to the forum. If this is your first try with the Polk line of speakers, do not be shied off. For the money, these speakers are some of the best IMO.

If you think that the prices are a little steep, maybe you should try to aquire some pre-owned. The company puts out a very high quality product, and the people who buy them are usually not the type to abuse.

Look around, and try them out. I am sure you won't be disappointed.

You know it really is a bummer though when the manufactures
(not only polk) Mandate there stuff be sold at retail or they will not honor the warranty.. this to me is wrong even though I still own many of polks I feel they should give a break regarding the cost's.... How many of you really Know the Mark-Up on there speakers?

Granted if you want them you will pay the price as we have done, or you will get something else... I do like my Polks, But they are costly to the end user!

and the policey on buying from Authorized Dealers only or else is Way wrong!

well anyway I know my 2 cents worth here don't help you on the cost of them but the Mark-Up thing really struck me, However again its not just Polk that does this.

Just do some shopping!!!! ((ebay man, ebay! you can by new, used or whatever and save bucks!))
