    Good point. But if that's true, what would go into that shorter powerport chamber?

    It looks like all the internal volume are mostly given for the upper sub. And, the lower sub is sealed with little volume.

    The last drawing is correct, the bottom driver is ported to the short port as illustrated in the drawing

    The midbass is sealed

    Maybe this one is better, From what I'm seeing the port for driver #2 goes right through the enclosure for driver #3. Driver #3 plays into a space around that port and up the back side of the enclosure and out the small rear port. Is that what you are stating VR3?
