Up for adoption ( cant bring myself to SELL ) LOL.
This amp has been my babe for over 4 years and since the mods, had to spend 3 times more to replace it in my rack!
It was completely gone thru by my tech and output relays replaced, new upgradrd filter caps ( from parasound) . Benched at about 280 watts @ 8 oms close to 400 watts @ 4 oms . Incredible sounding amp! Cosmeticly 9/10 ( cant find anything to knock it!) sonicly 10/10. Im the 2nd owner (original owner is long time friend) have purchased other equip thru him over the years. Original box and pacling, outer shipping box as well, original manual, and a couple of printed reviews. I have talked about this amp several times here over the years (as well as the tech that modded it) with original purchace and mods i have 700.00 in it. Asking 500.00 + shipping. I know that is a little high for a ebay or cl price on a reg old 1200 but this isnt a reg old 1200 either! I dont think a 2200 could hold its own against this amp!     this is an absolutely awesome amp, even in stock form. I picked one up from peter (plenz2) on the site about 3 months ago or so, and it just brought my rta12b's to life!! I hear music as never before. have it matched with a hafler dh-110 and the combination just really works. this is an excellent amp, guys.

    The parasound sound really matches up with the polk sound ( a great senergy) ive powered monitor 5's several, 7's 10's, 12's, rta 12b's, and 12c's and they really like each other.

    I also have a 800 mkll and it is nice on the 12c's but the 1200 just makes them get up and dance! I sware they were smiling too!

    In all honsty if i didnt need the cash to pay towards the krell i wouldnt sell it! I know i will hate myself later, hell im allready getting cold feets!

    The Parasound HCA 1200 is indeed an amazing amp and, with all of the mods done by soundfreak, it is even better and well worth the asking price.

    I'd love to hear this on my RTA-12B's but I have other focuses right now and shipping that much weight halfway across the country would be expensive.

    try fedex. they're much cheaper than ups, take much better care of their packages, and even deliver on Saturdays!

    I hope a polkie would take it as it is so well matched to the polk sound. Ive had the pleasute of hearing it on all the monitor series and one sda and the senergy is simply amazing! BTW thanks for the bump.
