RM-1000w

I was recently given a RM-1000w passive sub. Can I run that that sub off of my powered PSW-10, using the speaker
outputs? I am a newbie it this. I have a Pioneer VSX-822 running RT35 mains, CS1, 4 TL1s for surround and a PSW-10. The VSX-822 is 5.1 with a preout for 7.1. I have a Scott 458a intergrated stereo amp running the two rears. I would like to add the RM-1000 across the room mostly for HT.

    Hello,
    Welcome to Polk's forum. You won't be able to operate the RM1000W from your sub's speaker connections. You'll have to send it the same signal as the two front speakers receive. Just put two additional right and left front speaker wires into the receiver's front connections and run them to the RM1000W. I'm not sure this will be of any real benefit, however, but you can try it fairly easily for yourself.
