Carole King's classic "Tapestry" to be released on SACD by Mobile Fidelity

Just a heads up.

Received Music Direct's seasonal catalog the other day and noticed the announcement on the back of MoFi's upcoming releases. Tapestry was previously released on SACD by Sony and the out-of-print SACD has appreciated quite a bit in value. Some have called the Sony SACD the definitive digital version but I'd think MoFi will attempt to best Sony's effort. If you're a fan of this album, here's your chance. Unfortunately, as with most of MoFi's upcoming releases, there's no release date announced.

Oh....MoFi will also be releasing "Tapestry" on LP as well.

    The Sony SACD is said to be a straight flat transfer of the original 2-track master tape. I don't see how MoFi can top it without EQ'ing it. A great album, not a great sounding album.
