Questin reguarding the DXi124 DVC 12in.

Hey guys, I am looking at buying the DXi124 DVC 12in subwoofer for my car, I was wondering what the best amplifier to run it off of was.

Depends on the size and type of box, all the other gear you are running, type of music, how much excess power your car can handle, how you wire the sub, etc. There are too many variables off hand to answer your question.
    Main Surround -
    Epson 8350 Projector/ Elite Screens 120" / Pioneer Elite SC-35 / Sunfire Signature / Focal Chorus 716s / Focal Chorus CC / Polk MC80 / Polk PSW150 sub

    Bedroom - Sharp Aquos 70" 650 / Pioneer SC-1222k / Polk RT-55 / Polk CS-250

    Den - Rotel RSP-1068 / Threshold CAS-2 / Boston VR-M60 / BDP-05FD

I also picked up a pair of these drivers.... Best Buy had them on sale for $40 last week. I want to build a dual driver box. Can someone tell me the volume of the box (vented) and what size port is optimal?

Sealed Box Volume:*Polk recommends mounting this woofer in a sealed enclosure with an internal volume of 0.88 cubic feet.
Ported Box Volume:*Polk recommends a ported enclosure with an internal volume of 1.5 cubic feet using a 4" diameter x 10" long port.
Bandpass Box Volume:*Polk recommends a bandpass enclosure with a 1.0 cubic foot sealed rear chamber and a 1.15 cubic foot ported front chamber with 4" diameter x 12" long port.
