R30's
Tonight I got a CSI40 and I have some R 30's what I want to know is this, can I upgrade the parts in the R 30's. The reason is I have just enough space for thier size. I would like to match them to the CSI40 with out getting a bigger speaker for space and height.

i gave u an answer, u cant do it. unless you want to change the crossover and most likely modify the cabnit too. its not worth it. you can get an r series center, live with the unmatched front, or get rti series mains.
if size is an issue then consider bookshelves. rti28, and rti38's will match your center, and will still sound better then r series speakers. -

no, they use different tweeters. if you can really tell a difference then you will need to get different speakers, either a different center of different mains. i would suggest different mains. if you really can't tell a difference then dont worry about it. theres people that use different speaker brands together and different series together. what sounds good to you is best.
