    .....don't bother with the SACD as it is roundly panned as a sonic mess.

    At least I'm not the only one. 'Bout got my head bitten off after mentioning this here when I first got it.

    Agree on the reviewer's evaluation. The Redbook CD version of this (97 remastered version) has been my reference Redbook CD since I bought it. It sounds incredible.

    i like this when i'm driving..to get the sda's into their bloom, the hiss on this recording is too much for me...i like quiet nights, porgie & bess and live at newport 58 (?)
