SACD vs Blu-ray

I've been wondering lately how big a difference there is between blu-ray and SACD sonically. For example, I have Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here immersion editions which feature blu-rays of the multchannel and quad mixes. I've never heard the SACD of either recording, has anyone here been able to do a comparison between these discs or any others that might have both blu and SACD versions? Just wondering if I'm missing anything not having the SACDs of the ones I mentioned. It'd be nice to hear opinions pro and con...

I have often wondered the same. The immersion WYWH and DSOTM Blu-ray 2 channel are some of my most used music choices. I even put the Eagles Farewell I tour Blu-ray in just for the music. Not to mention a bunch of other DVD and Blu-ray shows. I just hope someone has both in order to evaluate.

    Somebody will chime in.

I'd suspect SACD vs Bluray would have more to do with the DAC being used then the medium.

I'd suspect you are right. With all things being equal (recording, mastering, etc.) I suspect it will be very, very difficult to tell the difference between a 24/192 PCM file versus a DSD file.
