Forum hacked, some posts missing??

Since the forum was hacked and repaired today it seems some posts are missing???

Is it me or is it memorex??

    I'm sure they had to revert to an older backup, which would explain why posts are missing, anything posted since the last backup.

    Looks like the script kitties just hit the message board software. Polk might have to upgrade it to a new version that patches the exploit. I doubt a hacker after cc would let you know they owned your system.

    What fisch said. Most hacks are just exploits of forum code. Polk uses a completely different site for its online store so I wouldn't worry too much...

    Bear in mind that this forum is one of those tertiary things to Polk and very likely isn't running on the latest and greatest code version because the person who administers it probably wears 17 or 18 different hats at the same time within Polk.

    I thought it was interesting in that the widescreen option no longer worked for me, and the dropdown at the bottom of the page for changing it was no longer there. Now everything is fine.
