Is $2100 a good price for Parasound A51?

I emailed the seller for this listing on ebay and he said the lowest is $2100. what do you think?

I've heard a lot about parasound amps and want to try it out to compare with my HK Citation 7.1

    Search the "completed listings", and they seem to be selling around that amount shipped. I'd say its about average price, nothing special though. In my opinion, the real "deals" are from Craigslist and here, where you can score killer deals with enough patience.

    i paid 3270 for a new one ... i think for the condition i think 2100 is a decent price

    Better yet, search the "SOLD" listings for a more accurate accounting of what they're actually selling for.

    I'd ask how old the amp is. The A51 has been in production for a number of years now. If it's relatively new, the condition it's in isn't too bad, so the price seems reasonable. If it's early production I'd look for another, not because there's anything wrong with early production models, but because for that price you should be able to get one in better condition.

    Just curious how are you guys finding these deals? I am interested in a Parasound a51 amp. So far I found one on eBay but he is asking 3k. Thanks :)

    Loads of patience. Unfortunately, they are a well loved design and don't often come up for sale but they do from time to time at realistic prices.
