This thing is about 10 months old,in flawless condition. Box,manual, and pc included. Pics if needed, but as I said, its minty! Lookin for $400/shipped to conus, paypal is fine,as a gift. This is a very neutral, punchy, acurate Dac,with the best bass I've heard from a dac! It accepts rca,and balanced inputs. It took a lot of money to upgrade imho,to a substantialy better dac. Good Day Gents!

Folks, this is a GREAT piece of gear. I recently got to hear the standard DAC Magic with my Sunfire and it BLEW me away how good it sounded. I cant imagine how good the newer version sounds."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Thanx Enders! I wasn't joking when I said I had to spend a couple thousand for a substantial upgrade!"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for"

currently I've MF V-DAC II and thinking about trying this one. has anyone tried both? how are they compared?
-
I compared the earlier version of this with the MF DAC, and they're actually fairly similar sounding. They both have a fairly laid back sound to them. If you have the MF and are looking something a little more exciting then the DACMagic isn't really your best bet, but if you're wanting something with a similar sound but with all the extra features and a headphone amp then this definitely looks like a great option.

Pm sent.

the only feature that I like is the pre-amp. this way I can plug it directly to the amp. another item for about the same price is
Grant Fidelity TubeDAC-11. any thoughts on that one? -
This is sold! Ty Enders!"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for"
