Does anyone have any recommendation for matching left and right channel speakers to existing Polk center (cs245) and surrounds (FX300) and psw350 sub? It is my understanding that this is important for HT which is the majority of my listening.

I am using a pair of 3 way infinity bookshelf speakers for front s that were from my original setup. I added the Polk speakers when I upgraded my receiver to Dolby digital to replace older mismatch of speakers I owned. Ran out of money to upgrade more speakers not to mention wife approval. I have never been happy with the infinities since I bought the new stuff. It has never been a big problem since my listening area was never that good.

I just completed an addition – home theater in my basement and things are now set up nice. Surround set up placement is good and ever thing is wired in the walls. Room sound quality is excellent. I really notice the difference now. Especially when using test to set up speaker level.

I also got 50 Sony grand wega rp LCD TV as gift for Christmas awsome. (I Recommend this TV. DVDs are great and HDTV football is unbelievable.

Because the stand for the TV has only a 19 wide area for the Center (Center can not be placed on top and shelf is also not viable option). I am planning on purchasing a cs400i center that will still fit as an upgrade and moving the cs245 as a rear center in the future. (Thier is a new one on ebay available)

I have thought about trying to find rt55i or rt35i as I believe these will match my other speakers. But those are not around new and I am not sure about getting used.

Any recommendations for a new pair of bookshelf polks to match or should I just go for RT55 or 35. Placement in the room requires either bookshelf on flanking end tables or wall mounted fronts.

Thanks for any advice.
Dave
