New Integrated Amp

I've matched the cosmetics of my CD player with a new integrated amplifier. This new piece is called a Jolida JD 1502, a 100 watt hybrid which features a pair 12AX7 tubes showcased behind a centered window. Sound is no nonsense. Neutral with a good amount of power to drive the bass. Comes with remote control. The CD player looks filthy in the picture but those aren't finger prints. Some type of artifact I suppose.

Jolida makes some nice stuff. How do you like the JD 200--which seems to be an upgrade of the ever popular 100? I have the, now defunct Jolida Music Van which was supposedly the match for their TOTL Music Envoy mono blocks and pre-amp. A four tube, no OP amp stage CDP with dual R-core transformers, etc.
From what I've read the 200 has SIX tubes? Jolida CDPs produce a very smooth, warm almost analog kind of sound.
I've never heard one of their hybrid amps, though?
Enjoy!

The 200 has better depth and detail, while retaining the analog sound. I was surprised at how much better a player I found it to be, considering how much I like the 100. I would imagine the Music Van would be similar.

Nice system you got there, I also would like to get into tubes and may just start with a tube pre for one of my adcoms, do you have any suggestions? Enjoy your Integrated.Home Theater

I believe that a good tubed CD player can go a long way towards getting digital to sound analog. I thought about tube preamps as well, but couldn't find one that I wanted to pay for. And if I did, what would I have matched it with? There's also the issue of cosmetics. I find that as I've gotten older that I take cosmetics more seriously. This seemed like a simple solution to create a cosmetically appealing matched system. I didn't need more tubes in my system. That's not why I got it. Fortunately this amp didn't take away any upper end detail and bite. Just a good honest sound and a robust 100 watts. Good luck.
