I"m not sure if you guys have seen this, but thought I'd post it just in case. Amazon is selling a special Anniversary Edition of Madden 25 that includes online (computer, tablet and phone) access to NFL Sunday Ticket. This is the version of NFL Sunday Ticket that DirecTV sells as the 'Maxx' version, which grants online access to all the ST content. There are also discounts for DirecTV current customers and for new customers, but I'm not adding DTV service and will be using the online access.

Note that the PS3 will NOT be getting Sunday Ticket this year like it has the last couple years, so that makes this even more important for non-DTV customers who want all the NFL games or people like me who are fans of out-of-town teams and want to catch their games.

Amazon has it for $99, which is only $40 more than the $59 cost of the game alone, so paying $40 for NFL Sunday Ticket, even the online only version. It seems like a good deal to me and I've bought one, thought I'd pass it along, link to Amazon below:

Thank you! Jumped on that one. Madden is too hard for me to get good at? But to be able to watch my Bears every week in Minnesota with no cable is worth the one bill price. Awesome deal for me! Darryl

I didn't think you can even watch online without having a direct tv subscription.
Sunday ticket is licensed to direct tv until 2014. The Nfl can currently only broadcast live regular season games online outside of the USA until this contract expires. It my understanding to watch Sunday ticket online or on mobile still requires a direct tv subscription and the additional purchase of Sunday ticket. I hope I am wrong since you already purchased the game.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. Nope, no DirecTV subscription required. This has ben verified with EA, Amazon, and DirecTV...and it's spelled out right there in the FAQ on the Amazon page. You also used to be able to get Sunday Ticket on PS3 without a DTV sub, I know because I did it a couple years ago.

Well this has been a frustrating experience so far. I got up all geeked out about getting to watch every minute of every Fins game this season. Kick on the PC, go to the appropriate log in screen, and get a message that says:

Directv.com will be back shortly. We’re making improvements to maximize your online experience.

Ummmmmm, no, you're actually funking my day up. I wonder what the refund policy is on package deals like this if this continues to be an issue throughout the season.

I guess it was a huge surprise that millions of people would be flocking to their site to watch the games today, with it being week 1 and all. Absurd...

I've got no problems here on my end, working great. My only gripe is that you can't log in on more than one device, not a deal breaker though. Hope you get it worked out on your end.

and then literally seconds after posting that the game I'm watching starts freezing up. We'll see how it goes, hopefully it's just opening weekend issues that get worked out soon.

Looks like it was a week 1 issue. I was able to get in right at the end of the first quarter, but had issues on and off through the 2nd quarter. I was finally able to get a good, stable connection rolling by the 4PM games.

It is somewhat limited, but if I can get a stable connection at 1PM sharp each week, I'll have gotten my money's worth here.
