re-clothing rta12c Hats

Anyone done this or had it done?? Not something i can even consider doing myself.my local shops wont touch them! Need ideas or advice ! Thanks in advance.

    I would think you would need to have the corners sewn together by someone with experience...

    Try a upholstery shop I would think they could do them.

    Upholstery shop thats a good idea. Dose any know how the cloth is "pined in the groove underneth , it loods like some kind of "spline" like on screen on a screen door?????

    A friend of mine had some & had the same problem. That happens over time with those hats. You may find some shops may not tackle the job. But im sure there are some that would in your area. If you were up here in Maine there is Hill's Upholstery that will do grills & more. Old timers that do great work are out there. GL with you project
